A daily sketch diary to better myself at drawing the human and not-so-human form in a comic book/animation style and pave a pathway to a skill that I enjoy doing. By going public with my artistic journey I am hoping that I feel more of a need to continue my way to being a better artist. Suggestions for daily sketches are always appreciated. Right now I am concentrating on form and anatomy.

Sketch of the day: FFIV Kain
Today's sketch is of Kain from the video game Final Fantasy IV. I asked someone what I should draw today and they suggested I draw him. Feel free to suggest someone or something for me to try my hand at drawing. I would love the challenge!
I think imperfections can give more character. I like this a lot but you might could add a touch of shadowing to the face to give the face more depth and expression... however I can't do drawings like this for some reason. I lack imagination in this area. I envy people that can express this way.
I used a ruler to do his weapon, yet for some reason it's still a little crooked. *face palm*
