By going public with my artistic journey I am hoping that I feel more of a need to continue my way to being a better artist. Suggestions for daily sketches are always appreciated. Right now I am concentrating on form and anatomy.Jonathan Rohrerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03805876811199029896noreply@blogger.comBlogger55125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9075118547034823579.post-33770001931646047882011-11-02T16:25:00.001-07:002011-11-02T16:25:48.994-07:00Sketch of the day - Killer Croc Baby 7 of 7<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNFAgNMDoUnD99ROtLgRe0g1K09_wleywOAS71_Whw0uaaBoyofq7R2F1vanpWLBxvT2KgU9IOSBaSY4RYjtqMjT7BiRh-4W-LZUq2pckVny1HOLZVgPpwO95FYXu06CC4-CrvNLdvl59q/s1600/Killer+Croc+color++finished.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="246" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNFAgNMDoUnD99ROtLgRe0g1K09_wleywOAS71_Whw0uaaBoyofq7R2F1vanpWLBxvT2KgU9IOSBaSY4RYjtqMjT7BiRh-4W-LZUq2pckVny1HOLZVgPpwO95FYXu06CC4-CrvNLdvl59q/s320/Killer+Croc+color++finished.png" width="320" /></a></div>This is the last in the series of Gotham Babies I did, Killer Croc. I liked the style of the artist that did the book and so here, after many days of inactivity, is a new sketch of the day! I have been working on a project for a friend and and just about done, have one last drawing to colorize digitally and then I am finished. So I figured it was time to get back into the 'sketch of the day' routine.Jonathan Rohrerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03805876811199029896noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9075118547034823579.post-32912300039084452742011-09-06T15:19:00.000-07:002011-09-06T15:19:39.470-07:00Sketch of the day sneak peek - project I'm working on<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhd8qZj8V15MaCX6iU1mknu-PWa9xaOG16Rx4kzlOVlaBIlGLhCGcnpNAvI5cMXYx2-Z2Csu7n8CblmY3KgIZtwElWngInUmV-Z17XqNN_scg8YnNPzvaSaFzW3f6OtPZrDL02rHIPD774a/s1600/sneek+peek+2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="262" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhd8qZj8V15MaCX6iU1mknu-PWa9xaOG16Rx4kzlOVlaBIlGLhCGcnpNAvI5cMXYx2-Z2Csu7n8CblmY3KgIZtwElWngInUmV-Z17XqNN_scg8YnNPzvaSaFzW3f6OtPZrDL02rHIPD774a/s320/sneek+peek+2.png" width="320" /></a></div>Here is the same sneak peek from a few days ago, but in color. The color indigo represents compassion within the DC universe. I created a new race of aliens that resemble corgis, the little short-legged dogs made popular by the Queen of England. My character is named Kor-Ghee, an Indigo Lantern representing his race of Corgi-like aliens. I like how he turned out for the most part, he has a cute face and I like the colors.Jonathan Rohrerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03805876811199029896noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9075118547034823579.post-30663202727900587732011-08-16T16:35:00.000-07:002011-08-16T16:35:48.989-07:00Sketch of the day: Wolverine from the Age of Apocalypse<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHRB4xX6u0zIJQJZek83INY1DWUk2sAjPNXmS9b4LeGqvIiL8G4SrqZTjIJFohu5ysBjn6kZKjaQKR9JqlDQLE_Jgh5HTpJTZOTDSSC_Hy8iKPzdQRHHpCEjgtKGI5eYUSfplv-6MjHQJt/s1600/Wolverine+AoA.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHRB4xX6u0zIJQJZek83INY1DWUk2sAjPNXmS9b4LeGqvIiL8G4SrqZTjIJFohu5ysBjn6kZKjaQKR9JqlDQLE_Jgh5HTpJTZOTDSSC_Hy8iKPzdQRHHpCEjgtKGI5eYUSfplv-6MjHQJt/s320/Wolverine+AoA.png" width="244" /></a></div>Today I drew Wolverine from the classic Age of Apocalypse story-line.
